KNUST Issues Guide to Resolve “Admission Data Not Uploaded” Error on NoFeesStress Portal

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has issued a detailed guide to assist students facing the “admission data not uploaded” error on the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) NoFeesStress portal.

According to the university’s Quality Assurance and Planning Office (QAPO), the issue stems from students failing to first submit their Ghana Card details through the KNUST Ghana Card Update portal. The office noted that admission data is not automatically transferred to the NoFeesStress platform and must be verified and uploaded by the university before syncing with SLTF.

Students have been directed to upload clear images of their Ghana Card and provide accurate details via the KNUST portal, after which the university will forward the information to SLTF within 24 to 48 hours. They are also advised to double-check their Ghana Card numbers for accuracy, as even minor errors can prevent successful verification.

QAPO further urged students to allow time for the batch synchronization process before attempting to access the portal again, warning that repeated login attempts do not speed up the process. Those who continue to face challenges after completing the initial steps have been instructed to submit complaints through the QAPO MIS Helpdesk with relevant details for resolution.

Once their data is successfully uploaded, students can proceed to complete their applications on the NoFeesStress portal, with additional support available at the SLTF office for issues such as bank account errors.

Step-by-Step Guide for Students

  1. Upload Ghana Card on the KNUST Portal
Log in to the KNUST Ghana Card Update portal and upload clear images of both the front and back of your Ghana Card. Enter your Ghana Card number correctly.

  2. Verify Your Ghana Card Details
Recheck your Ghana Card number to ensure it is accurate and properly formatted, including all hyphens. Correct any mistakes immediately.

  3. Wait for Data Synchronisation
Allow 24 to 48 hours for KNUST to verify and forward your data to SLTF. After this period, attempt to log in to the NoFeesStress portal again.

  4. Submit a Complaint to QAPO If the Problem Persists
If you have completed Steps 1–3 and still cannot access the portal, submit a complaint through the QAPO MIS Helpdesk. Applicants are required to provide their full name as registered on the KNUST system, student ID or portal username, department and programme, active phone number, the exact error message encountered, and the date the Ghana Card was uploaded. Students who have previously submitted a complaint have been advised to visit the office for further assistance.

  5. Complete Your Application
Once your data is successfully uploaded, log in to the NoFeesStress portal and complete your application. Visit the SLTF office for any additional support if needed.
