In a notice from the Quality Assurance and Planning Office (QAPO), distribution of the reprinted cards is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 30, 2026, across various departments. The office indicated that batches of the corrected cards have been sent to departments for onward distribution to affected students.

Students are required to present and surrender their old photo-less ID cards before receiving the new ones. Departments have also been directed to verify student identities using names and ID numbers, while recipients must sign a distribution ledger to acknowledge collection. All old cards collected are to be securely stored and returned to QAPO at the end of the semester for proper disposal.

The university emphasised that the corrected ID cards will be mandatory for access to end-of-semester examinations, urging departments to ensure prompt distribution. Students who are unable to locate their cards have been advised to report directly to the Quality Assurance and Planning Office for assistance.
