UCC Opens Applications for 2026/2027 Academic Year

The University of Cape Coast has opened its admissions portal for prospective students seeking admission into its regular undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The university announced that applications are open to candidates who will be writing the 2026 WASSCE as well as those who already have their results. Interested applicants are required to purchase an E-voucher at a cost of GH¢220.00 before beginning the application process.

E-vouchers are available at selected outlets across the country, including GCB Bank, ADB, GTBank, Republic Bank, Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), Zenith Bank, Prudential Bank, CAL Bank, National Investment Bank (NIB), OmniBSIC Bank, Fidelity Bank, and GhanaDotCom.

Applicants are expected to complete their applications online via the university’s admissions portal.

Application Process

1. Explore Programmes
   Review available programmes and choose one that aligns with your academic background and career goals. Check cut-off points and requirements.
2. Check Eligibility
   Confirm that your WASSCE/SSSCE results or qualifications meet the entry requirements for your selected programme.
3. Purchase E-Voucher
   Obtain an application voucher from any authorised bank or Ghana Post. (International applicants are exempt from this step.)
4. Complete Application
   Log in to the portal using your voucher serial number, fill in your personal details, select up to three programme choices, and upload required documents.
5. Track Application Status
   After submission, monitor your admission status online. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted for further steps, including medical examination and registration.

Application Deadlines

The university further indicated that applications for regular undergraduate programmes opened on March 26, 2026, and will close on July 31, 2026. Sandwich (campus) applications, which opened on March 7, will close on June 30, 2026. Applicants are encouraged to complete their applications within the stipulated period.
